Hey guys I was just wondering if when you activate a signet, does it have a chance of critting, or is it the set damage displayed on the fact box? The reason I ask is because I have never felt the need to use signers but with the recent changes to the necro I might start using signer damage in conjunction with the sput signet trait. Cheers guys

Everything can crit, except the damage from bleeding/burning/confusion/poison/torment. If the skill applies a condition but still deals white damage, that white damage can still crit.

Only non-condition damage that can’t crit is life stealing traits/sigils/food, Retaliation, and the Mug trait on thieves. Critting can happen on anything else.

There was something I’ve wondered, when using the signet trait, does the might come into play before or after the signet does the damage or actually lands the hit?

Should be simple enough to test. Go to the mists with a steady weapon and the trait off. Use signet and wait for a minute. turn the trait on and use signet again. Assuming neither crits, that should deal the same damage if the might is applied second.
