fire a lifeblast when entering deathshroud

Basically fires a instant cast lifeblast at a person for some extra burst
My main issue is counterplay is limited to stay at range so you can see the travel time.

I’d rather have some vigor on critical hit, really

Maybe AoE siphon upon leaving DS?

I like this idea a lot actually.

I like this one a lot too but maybe the 15 or 25 pt minor it seems too strong for the first trait

You want counter play? How about the stupid lightning bolt that Elementalist get which is instant and basically unstoppable

I doubt we ever get a vigor on crit trait

He may have meant grandmaster adept, which is 5 points now. I think. But yeah for the adept minor it is way too strong.

What about something like 3/4 second distortion/evade/invu upon leaving DS with AoE siphon? That could give more value to NtD/DS dancing and give us a chance to save our kitten .

Previous minor buffs healing, the line gives power. Good synergy for a siphon imo.

i would love to see vigor on crit hit for 5 s (10s icd)

but other proffessions would complain about necro now having vigor + ‘2nd healthbar’

It would be nice to get vigor and one suggestion i read would be the perfect way to get vigor for necromancers.

there arent any 25pt traits any more its the grandmaster tier 5pt
thats where i got my idea from the ele

That or make it give might (5 seconds) when you attack an enemy that is below 50% health.

Either of those would be great, as is now its useless.

Yes it does. Dhuumfire right now is great! If i was to automatically cast a life blast on my target on ds entry i would lose my active choice to dhuumfire or not which is what makes dhuumfire great and better than it was before when it was a passive crit proc.

you can still choose when to go into deathshroud which most of the time you start casting lifeblast at your which will proc your dhuumfire.
the control you’d lose is switching targets then doing lifeblast and casting darkpath or other skills on a different target first then lifeblast to proc dhuumfire.
which i think dont come up often.
still i wouldnt’t mind it being changed to something else

Id take anything.

Even deleting it along with the 3pt minor to save 2x clicks, is worth more than they currently deliver.

We should never get any Vigor. That’s clear enough for me and I like that.

Life force resource management, that’s what I want.

Good point. Ideally they could just have the trait always access the untraited Life Blast, instead of the traited version, which wouldn’t be too hard.
