I experienced it many times and got it on video too…
i have stability on but still get turned into stone…
is this working as intended?
I always thought it counted as a stun and could be negated by stability…

You probably one had one stack of stability, and got hit with both hits of basilisk venom. First one will remove the one stack, and the second will stun.

1 stun per strike, but lasts 2 strikes.

dang…then that makes the opening evade so important…

Its possible your stab is being stolen as well, as it prioritizes stab (I’m pretty sure).
