Pfft. Right. This build gets crushed by any burst and won’t down anyone who plays the least bit defensive.

Tanky via life force isn’t really that tank considering DS won’t give you a lot after its used up.

thx man, i will try it, but like empiren said, i dont think this build could be a tanky, maybe is a good attack build.
i dont know if this build could work to defend a point, but surely will work good to attack some base.

DS builds can be built to tank very strongly and still do pretty decent damage. However, this isn’t one of those builds.

The problem is that you are using wells with no well CD reduction, using the 5s death shroud trait with only 1 on entry trait, using a bunch of +fury stuff in a build that can already give you 100% fury uptime (just 5s DS CD + 15 into curses does that). You also are using greater staff marks when it is obvious that you are going to want to stay in dagger main hand almost all the time.

Imo, this build just doesn’t have good synergy with itself.

Edit: also, one proc of Sigil of Rage will put your staff’s sigil on CD for 45 seconds as well, since they share CDs.

Unless that doesn’t apply to sigils on two different weapon sets, I’m not sure what you mean.

Disregard for some reason I read staffs marks on cool down for 45 seconds from the sigil proc. Its late and I am tired.

This is my “basic” build too; I dont have greater marks, I went spite with those 10 points for spiteful talisman.

The shroud uptime is tempting, but its very nice to have stability when you want to let loose with your life siphon in a crowd (wvwvw) where you’re sure to get knocked around otherwise. Like I say I’m tempted to try it out though.

It can still be built tanky, just add some soldier with some berserker.

oh ya, and sigils of fire with a sigil of force in offhand. I like pack runes, and the spectral walk traits, gives me near 100% swiftness. Swap it out with another well if you plan on staying in an area (siege).

I’m talking wvwvw though of course.

Okay man i tested it , and i made some changes. In this way u can enter in DS most of the time, and u have a lot of attack, with the liche form u can kill very fast, and if u learn how to use the worm and the spectrall recall u rarely died.
I suggest to change the rune of ogre for superior rune of eagle, is better but u can use the ogre rune too.
Another thing is that this ISNT A BUNKER, but u can fight 1v1 , forget to fight 1v2 u can do it but u wont be capable to defend the spot.
U need to use most of the time the staff, leave marks(more life force) then change to axe to get retaliation when u need it,ghastly claws is a good attack too. The dagger will give u blindness and weakness ( is very good when u fight thiefs and warriors) ,and will help u to transfer the conditions.
Another thing is that when u are in DS u will get more attack because u will gain might with the blasts.
