I’m new to Necromancer and I need some advice / build for sPvp / tPvp.

Depends on what you’re going for, it’d be alot easier to explain this ingame. What times are you generally on? I’ll be on in about 7-8 hours as I’m going to sleep at the moment.

It’s kind of hard to just give general pointers because there are so many different builds.
Do you really start from scratch or did you play some hot join matches or pve before?
Fist thing you need to decide for yourself is the weapon combo you want to use. Then you decide on the gear and build.

You could also check out the “But of Corpse: Necro Central” thread. Almost all interviewees are successful tournament players. Although, some of them rely on a premade group composition.

Look up Nemesis’ Terror build. It is an all around strong build for PvP, can fit into teams easily, and is strong in 1v1 and group fights. That is the easiest thing if you are planning to just do hotjoins and pug tournaments. If you are doing pre-made groups, then let us know what the group already has, and what they are wanting, and that can narrow down what you could use as a Necromancer.

I will give you my three step process to learning about the Necromancer

Each of these are fantastic ways to get immersed into the spirit of the Necromancer and what they bring to the table.

Ignore the hate. The Necromancer does have a learning curve, but the more you play it the more you will enjoy it or find that maybe it’s not for you.

Other than that, Take a look at our All-Necro tournament team videos we run 4-5 of the most common builds, including a new necro bunker build. Nemesis’ Terror build is easily the most popular because it gives condition mancers burst.

And tbh: Necromancers are at the low end of the viable classes, though it’s very easy to play and can be devastating to not top notch players.

Disagree that playing necro well in tPvP is easy, but that is a different debate for a different time.

To the OP:

Search these forums for Khalifahaze’s D/D build. It gives you a great introduction to Power Necro and learning to play that build will take your skill level a long way quickly. Be prepared to die a lot when you start, but if you get decent with it you will have double digit kills in tPvP often. I believe there is also a Terror build that Khalifa posted in there somewhere that can introduce you to that concept, so you can learn 2 ways.

I prefer D/WH with spectral grasp over D/D with Spectral Walk :P. They are both awesome but D/WH has a bit more damage and healing depending on build, while D/D with Walk is a bit better for survival :P.

Im running d/d staff, wells and spectral grasp.
I like it because the speed boost from traits let me have a utility not occupied by that and works fine.

First : you want to play on hot join or TPvP?

If Hot Join i would recommend some MM Hybrite[wisper me in game and i would give you my build]

If TPvP Necro plays more as support dmg, i would recommend you Glass Cannon necro if you team can heal you and give bit of might stacks.[same thing, i can give you my build if you wish]

As a Necro beginner i would recommend you to play on Condition build. there are many of them [didn’t play like this for a long time, so i cant give any build directly. As i started as necro i used TokyoMurai builds].

Anyway I would not recomment to start as necro atm, because effectivness of necro is not realy high.
