I am a power necro, part of a guild that runs mostly with 20/25 in WvW.

I finally got around to capturing some gameplay and last week we had some good times fighting in Hills which I recorded:

Dear necro-community,
If you have any criticism and/or suggestions, I really would like to hear them.
(I guess some of you don’t like the larger scale fighting and I hope to record also some roaming/smallscale soon.)

There are moments in the video where I swapped out the 2 cavalier rings for 2 berserker rings.
We were warming up for a GvG at that moment, we didn’t bother with food and weapon stacks. Food I often use would be +100 power, +10% crit damage and Sharpening Stones.
But who knows what (we) will change with todays patch….

As before, I am open to criticism.
Build didn’t really change, besides dropping Ruby orbs for Scholar runes.

Wells are.on of my favorite freinds.
Have you tried making soul reaping 4 and blood magic 6, taking vampiric rituals, this.would make you wells heal you heal you ridiculous amount.
Unless you focus on Ds.
For soul reaping if your in ds a lot I’d drop spectral mastery and go for either vital persistence, unyielding blast, or path of midnight.

Within my guild, necro’s role (amongst others) is damage. Seeking to maximize (crit)damage I have a hard time dropping Death Perception, or even taking points away from Soul Reaping. Nor do I really feel (in part because of support of my guild) that I lack in personal sustain and hence don’t feel like I need Vampiric Rituals.
Concerning Spectral Mastery, I’m the only necro running Spectral Wall in our group and hence this trait. Our other necro’s run something else indeed.
That said, thanks for your input.

Great vids! My only suggestion is to stop using Bandicam as it’s not that great. try Open Broadcasting Software (OBS) instead. Way more options and you can save as video or stream to Twitch.
