RS 2 doesnt reflect, it breaks projectiles afaik.

Reflects would be another whole can of worms, and honestly I will be happy with just one block (on reaper) at this point. This in itself shows me that at least one dev is not as rigid to the “necro ruleset” as they once were; this gives me hope!
I don’t see anything besides reaper getting projectile blocking. The only reason RS2 got projectile blocking, was probably because death’s charge is supposed to be part of the “unstoppable” factor in reaper.
Reminds me a lot of flesh golem charge in a way.

@striker: Gee said reaper got a projectile block because of a forum suggestion and he is looking into adding that to other necro skills. My bet is on Spectral wall.

I hope its something with burst condi application. Scepter 2 and 3 on mesmer burst condis onto to the target, but necro scepter is like trying to watch paint dry with slow bleed stacks when bleed’s scaling is so weak.

Necro scepter 3 getting condi burst of some sort instead of power burst would be very nice, as well as touching up the AA/2 skill to be strong immediate threats instead of needing to stay on for the full 30s duration to be comparable to other skills.

Agreed, flavor wise , reflects I don’t think suit necro. Plus reflects are super strong, example, lupi. Projectile destruction would suit necro better theme wise, give us some team support, but not into the realm of broken, and would hopefully let us get by without much of a CD increase in whatever abilities they’d tack them on. I’d be fine however with reflect on a traited spectral wall.
Pretty much, I’d picture my necro saying this as he puts down a CpC if it had projectile destruction. “I didn’t cast that to save you. You just happened to be in the right place at the right time.”
Have to remember that even if they do listen it doesnt mean they will act on the suggestions. Which i suspect has been the main issue in the past. Hopefully things are different this time because of HoT.
I would love reflects or projectile destruction but the idea also scares me. Knowing Anet, if we were to get say, projectile destruction on CPC, the skill would stay the exact same with the addition of projectile destruction but the cooldown would be increased tenfold. Then it would be just as useless as ever.
