How would you all like it if GS4 was ground target?

Better yet, what if it was classified as a Well type? Could be casted while moving in both cases.

Nightfall is the only GS ability that isn’t bad. It really doesn’t need anything more.

And besides, your suggestion would make it less cool.

Also how does a skill that roots in melee on an already slow sluggish weapon good in action combat?

Also the radius isnt consistent in beta. To short for serious fights in SPVP. We not Thief.

So far its as bad as the rest of the whole greatsword weapon.

GS#4 isn’t bad at all. The root is insanely short and not an issue. You’re supposed to hold an enemy inside it. That being said I wouldn’t mind it having a slightly larger radius and to pulse blinds every second instead of 2 seconds, aka Well of Darkness on a much shorter cooldown. Lol.

Also, think for a second. If GS#4 became a well skill, it would have to balanced under the assumption you are always traiting for wells. That’s bad. And basically, you’re asking for a buffed Well of Darkness on the Greatsword. This topic should be “Please buff Well of Darkness.”

GS4 is decent as is, would like to see the pulse at 1s and for it to not have the insane aftercast, but otherwise its fine.

No problems with the ability or the idea, it’s the one GS skill I like, and I’d still like it as ground targetted.

GS4 or nightfall is really really good, a Melee stopper atm…. leave it is and do something bout the rest of GS skills wich needs work. Gravedigger is great but not with that cast time

Would be way better as i have mentioned many times the GS got nice stats but it feels so ultra slow and not smoothly at all. So get away with this long long cast times would be a really good option and i would really welcome this change robert !

With no massive aftercast, it would be great as-is. If anything, I would want it to follow me as I move like an aura, but that’s wishful thinking.

nightfall is fine, the problem is the aftercast, its almost longer than the actual casting time.

agree w/ the crowd….remove the aftercast, and it will be great.

that said, i almost always prefer ranged ground target…so if there must be an aftercast, i’ll take the GT

there doesn’t have to be an aftercast, you can cut it by stowing weapon after the field is placed but it’s stupid if you have to do that if it’s possible to just remove it all the way.

What if it was ground targeted and had a shadowstep similar to infiltrators arrow?
