Hey there, kind of new to guildwars 2 but I have leveled an Asura necro to 40 and I have enjoyed it thoroughly. I really haven’t had trouble with any of the Pve content but i would like to start fine tuning what stats I’m looking for. I’ve had the best success running scepter/dagger and staff, I use consume conditions for healing skill, and for utility skills I run well of corruption, well of suffering, and locust signet. For elite I toggle between plague and flesh golem. Just curious what kind of stats I should be focusing on for a build that uses those skills.

Scepter/Dagger favours a Condition Build.

Staff can be used in a Condition Build, Hybrid Build or a Bunker Build.

Well of Corruption and Well of Suffering are mostly for Power or Hybrid Builds (Though can occasionally by used in other builds when for example Epidemic isn’t useful)

I’d suggest going towards Condition Damage and Precision with that set up (Also look into running with Epidemic, as it’s amazing for AoE as a Condition Build) with the goal to be getting Rabid gear (Condition Damage/Precision/Toughness)

If you’re using Scepter/Dagger-Staff, then you want to be a condition build. I would suggest taking Epidemic and Blood is Power instead of the wells, especially for pve. Maybe switch out BIP for the Well of Corruption when you’re against mobs that use a lot of boons such as Dredge.

Scepter usually means Condition.
And your utilities bear that out.

There’s different opinions out there. Read forum threads by Nemesis and Lopez (both well-experienced necros) for ideas regarding gear and builds. And whenever they post, other folks will agree or offer helpful alternatives.

Arguments out and about say that Condition builds are based on:
Carrion (Condition Dmg/Power/Vitality),
Rampager (Precision/Condition Dmg/Power)
or Rabid ( Condition Dmg/Precsion/Toughness).
Take your choice. Your can build any of them.
