I been away for a while, but with talk about a new Class revamp/ new skills, I have to wonder if there already been talk regarding what changes will be made to the Necro perhaps?

The first thing that comes to mind is siphoning getting improved. The devs have fully admitted that it is just bad currently.

The other thing is that they are going to shift a bit more life force generation to main hand weapons. Given the only one that has a weakness on that front is the Scepter, my guess is that we will see either another buff to Feast of Corruption or we will see Grasping Dead generate some (I’m hoping for the later).

The other thing is that they are going to shift a bit more life force generation to main hand weapons. Given the only one that has a weakness on that front is the Scepter, my guess is that we will see either another buff to Feast of Corruption or we will see Grasping Dead generate some (I’m hoping for the later).

Of course the downside to better LF generation and siphoning improvements, and healing working in some small fashion through DS, is going to come at the cost of something else.

I for one would support burning on interrupt once they fix fear causing interrupt for the 30 point trait in spite. Reward good use of skills and interrupts, not freebie damage procs.

Hmm, its not that hard to interrupt another player you know… Since interrupt does count to Auto Attack, and 99% of players are auto attacking you all the time, you really just need to throw your fear and it would likely proc your interrupt. Dont see how this is any more skillfull than proc on hit. It just would make precision more useless, and terrormancer more powerful.

It would only make necros harder to play on PvE, since enemies arent attacking you all the time there.

Currently dummfire procs on my first or second auto attack nearly 100% of the time. How would tying that to an interrupt not make it less accessible? If you blow your fear and don’t land an interrupt, no burning.

If you anticipate the fear, you see them go into DS, you cast stability or spam evades, there is a good chance you avoid the burning. RIght now you you literally cannot avoid it. Of course it would require more skill to land, and be less accessible with a 20 second cooldown on DS fear.

Terrormancer wouldn’t be any stronger… it would be weaker with lower burn up-time, and even less burn up-time if they miss the fear. I agree that it would make that trait garbage in PVE, but it is what it is.
