When I got my daily reward yesterday, I received a gold 2H. Wouldn’t a bow or leather piece have been more appropriate piece after clicking on the “ranger” button?

The point of clicking the ranger button is to ensure that you get a weapon or armor that a ranger can use. A ranger getting a greatsword is appropriate.

What’s wrong with a Ranger using a GS (assuming that’s what you meant)? It’s a pretty strong weapon.
