I love ancestral grace! It’s without a doubt my favorite new ab for the Druid. I love being able to dive into combat while healing frontliners, drop a few traps and then dodge roll out. I don’t know why but that’s the way I like to play it, dive in and kite out.

But, I would like Ancestral Grace so much more if it wasn’t so buggy. If you try to use it over a surface that you would have issues running on, it gets stuck and you just kinda stay as the wisp without moving. This has happened to me on stairs, rocks and even just a sharp lip on rough terrain. So the ab isn’t a true teleport as much as it is a glorified dodge roll in the way that you travel. Should I have expected this? I’ve only been playing GW2 since August and Ranger has always been my main.

Awesome to get around in open world. Especially if you use it with GS 3. You get along quite well.

I’ve tried to astral grace over relatively even terrain into a water field only to get stuck in place. But it still gave the area healing message. I couldn’t tell where it was centered or if it even actually worked since it was in a large battle, but I guess the blast always goes off at the targeted location even if you don’t reach it.
