Guild Wars 2

Wondering if there is another class that feels similar to ranger. I have made a few alt’s but none of them feel right while playing them. My most recent Alt is a necro which i’m somewhat enjoying but I enjoyed Mesmer and engee for the first day too.

But anyway. I like how the ranger plays all except the pet. The pet apart from just not doing anything useful it reduces my overall damage.

what weapons do you use? Condition bunker type builds is more engineer style. If you wanted something with nice range and good burst you could try a scepter elementalist. If you wanna face roll easy mode roll a thief.

or a killing shot warrior

Atm I used a condition burst build. so axe horn sword torch.

If you play condi burst necro is your man, idk the build they use but I know they’ve got that type of playstyle

Go Thief if you’re playing a melee Ranger.

Warrior is the most similar in terms of capabilities and support.

Frost Spirit + Spotter= Banner of Discipline
Vigorous Renewal= Warhorn #5
Natural Vigor = Signet of Stamina
Longbow= Rifle
1h Sword= Axe
Torch= Longbow (Warrior)
Warhorn= FOR GREAT JUSTICE!

The only Warrior weapon inferior to Ranger is the Off-Hand axe. Let’s face it, Ranger axe is REALLY awesome, with nice damage capabilities! But overall, the Warrior class is better.
