I really don’t want to abandon my ranger- but after playing PvP for the first time ever today I now see just how crappy we are. I have almost maxed out my rangers gear (was working on legenday, lv20+ fracs, 400+ hours on her) but now I think it’s time to shelf her and move on.

Ranges need a LOT of work.

I dont want to shelve. I d better quit this game than reroll cause that is exactly what they want.

So…..it’s your first time in PvP and you’re bad at it…..so you automatically blame the class?
I admit rangers need work,but we’re not as broken as some of ye claim.

Agreed.

Having a bad time in dungeons on ranger I can understand,

Pvp though, no, ranger is still quite acceptable in Pvp.

Try a few more builds before throwing in the towel on that one.

Go with your gut feeling. I have a ranger too with legendary and 4 sets of exotic armor etc etc and I completely regret sticking with it. I kept telling myself ANet would fix em…yeah. Luckily I have an 80 guard with legendary and exotics and everything as well.

I’ve already Shelved My Ranger since the patch.
