Yes, 2 lv 80 Anet Rangers were helping me and my guild save the whales, i asked both of them if their mains were rangers and they said yes they were.

I’m more upset that their pet wolves had the little fancy Anet tag by their names as well as the owners =(

Haven’t heard of any. One would think that if they did, we’d have more communication and someone to address the problems.

There is one that I used to see quite often on Yak’s Bend before I left for a new server. His username was Mike and his charactername was Taru Taru (FFXI inspired I would guess). I cannot say if this is his “main” but it’s the only one of his characters that I would see around the mists so I assume it was.

I’m on Yak’s and saw the same one when passing through the PVP lobby, a few weeks back.

There was one on SoS. I forget his name but it was one of those generic people names the anet staff uses with their symbol. Haven’t seen him since Mad King’s dungeon however. He wasn’t taking tells at the time because I’m pretty sure he was being wtf bombarded with hate about 40ms.

Most games list devs for classes/areas why doesn’t this one give POC from the people to the programmers?

Thanks for the answers all. It’s good to know that someone on the Anet team also share our problems and sufferings. I dont know how much Anet take our pleads and suggestions seriously, but maybe the devs will listen to their ranger- co-workers instead. As long as there is at least one Anet ranger, I keep my hopes up and keep wishing for the fixes.

Another thing to keep in mind is, and I quote, “at arena net we make minor tweaks and adjustments when we balance instead of the ‘Whack-A-Mole’ style where you make drastic changes until its balanced” (I can link video later) so just because we were buffed MINORLY last patch doesn’t mean they’re through with buff and tweaks, I have no worries that we will be good all around soon!

Note: we’re actually pretty well off as is, our only real issues are that our utilities compared to other profs are just kinda… Well, meh…

Yea, the QQ about rangers being weak is really blown out of proportion. I think we have a lot of bugs and broken mechanics that hinder diversity in builds, but we’re not alone in this.

There’s a balance between producing polished content and producing a large quantity of content. A-net is pushing towards quantity, which is understandable since they need to prove that a game without a subscription fee can still give customers enough content to enjoy, even if it sucks for people like me that would rather have the current content polished more.

There are too many bugs that have been around since the early betas for me to be able to agree with you on this.
