Just wondering ._.

You want small pets that more match Asura stature, but pets that perform pretty well? Or just looking for small?

All races get access to the same pets if that’s what you mean. For PvP, WvW, or raids you’re crazy if you pick a pet based on aesthetics.

For open world, birds are the smallest that comes to mind and are pretty good DPS. Bristlebacks are also pretty adorable which match the asuran “theme”.

I want a small cat or rat pet

I guess mini pets are the next best option since only Birds are relatively small. Unless you made your Asura max height/size, then I guess Pigs, Dogs, and the like of medium-sized pets would be fine.
