Guild Wars 2

Dear fellow rangers,

Since the 1.2k -> 900 range, I have stopped my Ranger. Thing is I crafted a Dreamer 2 weeks before that patch and have went on a hiatus eversince. I was hoping to get back into the game but like I don’t see how sbow is still viable. I run solo WvW most of the times. Any help would be immensely appreciated.

With regular BM build you will kill 95% of other builds. Other 5% you will not be able to kill due to low dps, but neither they will be able to kill you. Search forum for details.

The standard spirit build using all rabid gear works well but it is very boring to play.

Here is the build i use to run for reference.If i ever start playing it again the only thing im going to do different is run 2 krait,centaur and afflicted runes instead of undead

I haven’t stopped using shortbow, the third spell is really useful as an evade and for situations where you don’t want to go melee I find it still decent. The only problems I’ve have had with shortbow is for chasing people running away, it is A LOT harder to catch people running away with it now compared to before.

Making shortbow auto give torment instead of bleed would be nice.

Would help with both kiting and runners now that the distance has been nerfed to 900.
