I’m not a big fan of the a/t build. Would really like to stick with longbow and maybe s/a or s/d. Was thinking about trying it out with sinister stats. Not sure what I would do for runes or sigils.
Do you guys think something like this would be viable for pve or should I just stick with zerker gear? Should also add I don’t plan on doing raids or high end fractals.

Should be totally fine for open world PvE but zerker is going to do more damage. I don’t think you need that amount of condi removal. Poison master would be better if you’re using sinister, or use skirmishing instead, which is just great for PvE.

I think I’d drop the spirit for SotH. The spirit is going to get left behind a lot, and you’re very slow the way you have it.

I like sword/torch for wvw and axe/torch for pve. Torch really is a great offhand for any build with conditions and stacks with sharpened edges trait.

If you still want sword/dagger or axe though then ya I would dump sun spirit and also Spotter in favor of hidden barbs.

Since your weapon choices favor power weapons I would go rampager stat (precision, power/condi) to make full use of your free 50% crit dmg.

Excellent and fun runeset for this is madking.

Run earth sigil on the bow, second slot is optional (I use torment but its expensive and a wvw choice). For sword/x I would take geomancy and corruption.

Dump marksmanship. Beastmastery with your pets would be better. If you go druid trait line consider staff over sword/x. Is another way to “abuse” sharpened edges.

As with sinister, can always run sigils focused on crit chance increase. Accuracy/perception and maybe Spotter if you can backup that 20% bleed dmg loss with good might stacking. The great thing about going Spotter + good might stacking is the 3 stats will be in harmony together just like the rampager/sinister stats in a hybrid sharpened edges build.
