. . . ranger greatsword #4 skill, Counterattack?

I haven’t played my ranger much the past few weeks, but yesterday I was in level 1 or 2 Fractals with a good friend who was on her ranger, and we both got pummeled during Mai Trin’s cannon barrage while using GS #4. The fact that it didn’t block cannon barrage—for both of us—does anyone know if it’s always been this way or it’s a recent bug?

I think all the cannon aoe’s are just unblockable in general, you can only avoid the damage with invulnerability skills, or defiant stance on warrior. Greatsword #4 can block her teleport attack though, but not the spinny move she does that sends out multiple projectiles

I’ll pass your response along to my friend, she was a bit upset at not-blocking as she felt she was stuck with a bad weapon choice. Thanks.

I tried it earlier today lol, they’re all unblockable by GS #4, warrior and guardian shields and aegis.

I believe traited signet of stone works. Though, you still take agony damage obvs.

Durzlla, thanks for checking, I was ready to file a bug report but I figure if something’s broken (particularly against a boss), it might really be intended behavior.

This it does, anything that makes you “Invulnerable” or take “0” damage will negate the damage portion of the canons but it will also forfeit your achievement for not getting hit and still hit you with agony because agony is mean like that (unless you’re literally invulnerable i believe i think that might spare you the agony)

stealth works, but make sure at least 1 party member isnt stealthed or she heals herself.
