Beastmaster 0/15/0/25/30
That looks like a lot of burst pain. Is this for PvP?
I wonder how Sic ’em and SotW stack. Multiplicatively?
The 16 quick hits from your Hunter’s Call will spin up the pet’s might under RaO. The pet’s attacks with fort bond will help keep the stacks up, but giving it a good shove in the right direction helps. I’m sure you already know that.
I would personally put 15 points into nature magic and only 10 into skirmishing so you will still have 15 points left for wilderness survival. This way you can get endurance regeneration and protection on dodge roll. 0 points in Wilderness Survival can result in a very quick death.

Look at Mighty Swap as an option to Rending Attacks. RA only gives a 1-second bleed on crit. However, Mighty Swap + Fortifying Bond = 6 stacks of might on your pet on swap, if it’s near you.
Errm, no. You’re thinking of sharpened edges. Rending attacks is a 5 sec bleed. My drake, using only the 30 points in beastmastery, crits enough to keep 2-3 stacks up most of the time. Varden’s cat will make even better use of it.
Mighty swap affects only the pet. 3 stacks, 10 seconds, unless you have boon duration. Has nothing to do with where the pet is when you swap it, and nothing to do with fortifying bond. I find it counter productive to fortifying bond as swapping the pet wipes all the boons.
^^^ My mistake.
Regarding Mighty Swap, my memory was faulty. Fortifying Bond indeed does not double in number of stacks, but it does double the duration of the 3 stacks of Might on the pet to 20 seconds.
It’s with the Jungle Stalker’s Mighty Roar, if it hits the Ranger, that the number of stacks on the cat does double to 10 if you have FB.
You could run both MR and RA, if you drop Speed Training.
Not a single condition removal. =/
What gear do you use? Runes?
Hmm. I think I’d pick Enlargement over two-handed training.
edit: 5x runes of the citadel might be nice

Hello! I just wanted to say that I’ve tried your build in spvp and like it very much. Although I’ve done some adjustments to it.
I went 0/20/0/20/30.
20 in Skirmisher duo to Pet’s Prowess and Agility Training.
I picked Enlargement instead of two-handed training.
I’ve tried it with Soldier’s Amulet, but now I’m running it with Cleric’s Amulet instead. With soldier I was somewhat squishy still. I was using Healing Spring since there was no condition removal, but cleric’s and Troll Unguent works so much better that I swapped QZ for Signet of renewal. At first I removed Signet of the wild for Lightning Reflex, but took it back since SoR gives both stun break and can cure all conditions if needed. I also use hoelbrak runes that gives might and reduced condition duration by 20% (still experimenting though).
For weapon I ended up with GS and Axe/horn. I’ve tried basically all combinations and was even running LB+GS. But decided that I needed range and I wanted to use both horn and GS so it was a compromise to get some range through Axe instead. Axe #3 also makes pet give weakness so kinda nice.
For pets I use Jaguar and Stalker (since it gives 5 stacks of might, 10 to the pet if traited). I’ve tried using one bird though, it does a lot of dmg too, sometimes it seem to do more than the cats actually? though I’m not sure..
I’ve tried BM build once before, though this is by far one of my most favorites ranger builds I’ve tried in PvP.
