Berseker Build
nope. BM bunker is flat out better.
There is another zerker build by aliettefaye (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCPU2zF3108). After the (leaked) patch, it’ll be even better coz popping signet = might buff. I’d imagine off hand axe would be pretty good too for this build. But all zerk ranger builds are too glassy in my opinion.
Spvp or small group play your BM bunker build is the way to go. In zerg vs zerg combat, the Berserker build is infinitely better. Just have to be able to read your enemies movements and it also helps to know the tendencies of both your servers guilds and the enemies guilds, as to know where to position yourself.
I’ve been sPvPing with a fairly resilient zerker build. If you go 0/20/30/20/0 with the sigil of blood for 30% chance on crit to heal. (you’ll be at 45% crit, 65% on swap).
I use dogs for the knockdowns and Fear/Immobilize and they get all my buffs which help with damage and survivability.

I’ll be modifying this build after the new changes but I feel it’s a good base for dps with survivability.

Hmm no it’s not. I see zerkers dying and dying again in wvw while i’m still standing and killing enemies. You won’t be able to resist much with 11 or 12k hp in wvw.
Feels like we’re just too squishy in a zerker build… At least run zerk trinkets though.
If I was to run a full zerker, this is close as I’d get: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fMAQNBhYDbEoqwOwyyi1SQsesnA9nWBNxUwfG5KMqC2UB-jwyAYLioZCCCNBjsAQZgoCwJvioxW2KiGraBTVSEV7PKiWdMA6B-e

I’ve been running a full zerker since the beginning and I feel great about it. In WvW I always follow a zerg and I can assure you, at 1500 range you can easily survive a large scale fight. I run LB S/W and together with lightning reflex i have a total of 3 leaps that can get me out of problem. LB #5 can cause lots of dmg and cripple if placed correct, dealing up to 1,6k per instance on crit. I understand that most rangers enjoy small scale fights or 1v1 in WvW, but i prefer large zerg clashes over anything else, and a zerker ranger is a good choice for that imo. Also, piercing arrows can be fun in fights on walls or gates where people are packed, mass knockback FTW !
