Currently I’m running full Rampager armor and accessory set (with Divinity Runes) and my damage is alright with a Shortbow (30 skirmisher) and its DoTs. But I am wondering, does the berserker’s +Crit Dmg provide me a higher DPS than my +Condition Dmg/Higher crit rate. (Currently with rampager I have 68% crit and 43% crit dmg).

like you said you’re trading condition for crit dmg. it all then relies on how reliably you can set in conditions. at that point.

Shortbow is still good for control for a power-crit build, but ultimately it’s a condition weapon.

Go for berserker set, traits for power, precision, critical and you will see the impact. 52-57% critical chance and around 100 critical damage. And yes, you will do more damage than with conditions. You can calculate that by yourself that you hit low damage right now and decent condition (100 or maybe higher), but then you would hit (with shortbow) between 500-1300 and still over 40 condition. With longbow and quickness you can take 70% hp down in no time while somebody is running away.

If you’re going for crit DMG runes (like eagle or divinity) go with berserker. Con damage doesn’t crit so rampager is going to be sub par.

My outlook on them is Berserker is for raw crit damage while Rampager focuses on condition damage.
