I know LB-S/A is better, it is the build I use now.

I just wanted to know what is the best Short-bow build for PvE and/or Dungeons?
If someone link me a build and/or explain one it would be greatly appreciated.
Also what would be used as the other weapon set? Thanks.

There is no real reason to use SB for PvE or dungeons at all, GS-LB-S/A are by far the better options. I can’t think of a time when SB would be better than LB for anything in the PvE mode.

Yeah the best option is likely might stacking with about 500 condi damage, you can still almost hit 3000 power and 1200 condition damage with near 200% crit, so it does decent damage. Can put 25 might on your pet a lot of the time too. If it was a dungeon, I’d drop a signet for frost spirit.

There is none.
But if there was a build supporting this gamestyle it would still be Frost Spotter Sinister Trapper ranger.
In longer fights – it challenges the Zerk build. In casual runs, it isn’t even close.

Sinister build maybe?

I made the Dreamer recently (for my thief) and have been screwing around in solo’s with this. It’s fun to play something other than LB + S/A Frost Spotter once in a while. I haven’t tried it in a group tho (and don’t plan to)

If you’re getting mighty swap and strength sigils you might as well get runes of the aristocracy, though the might is useless in any group with a PS war.

Better to go 4 into NM for Fortifying Bond and then grab Strength of Spirit, as there’s nothing else you can get for 1 point that will actually be useful. You’ll get a little more power, and your pet will have far more might.

Pretty much the meta build but with sinister gear, sharpening edges, possible trap traits if you want those and whatever runes may fit. You’re going hybrid if you want the highest damage output, so rune of the ranger is a solid starting point.

We are talking about dungeons after all, so stacking your own might is gonna be mostly redundant.
