Manage to get 15 mins to play before i head out and i tested Cats vs Birds.

Cats Auto Attack does EXACTLY as much DPS as Birds.

Cats attack every 1.2s with a .35 Modifier.

Birds attack every 2.6 secs with a .38 Modifier but double Hit.

Birds Swoop now does less damage then Auto Attack. Their Swiftness every 20 secs is a dps loss also. AKA Birds are bad dps unless they auto attack. Didn’t get a chance to test F2’s but i think they are worse then auto also.

Cats #2 is a nice dps boost every 8 secs and Maul barely does more damage then Auto Attack but they bleed also.

Cats/Birds Auto Attack is doing 57% MORE dps then Drakes. Drakes ate it hard. Their 2nd and 3rd ability is still good.

Ill test more once im back tonight.

i still think cats auto attacks arent that awful, the f2’s took a hit for sure though.

Cat auto didnt change.

Based on the notes, Owl F2 wasn’t changed so it should still hit pretty hard.

When you test the F2 skills, please don’t forget that Eagle F2 is 2 stacks of 15 second Bleeding. When it’s traited, its 21 seconds of bleeding on a 6 sec cooldown. :O

Drakes got hit that hard? Man, drakes finally get their skills fixed after months of being broken and now they get nerfed into terrible damage… boo.

And birds too. My 2 favorite pet families took big hits it seems. Sigh.

With the blind changes even if the dps is lowered on my raven I’m still going to keep using it. Also as a melee ranger getting free swiftness from my pet is always nice
