Boar Pet + Moment of Clarity
The two biggest gripes I have with the pigs are as follows:
1. Anyone can grab the item on the ground.
2. You can’t use any weapon abilities while holding it and dropping it makes it disappear plus activation times on some are fairly long.
I would like to see the pig drop all action and run to you when activating the F2, giving you the item and forage goes on a 40s cd. The item then appears in the same F2 slot so you can choose when to use it. After 30s of not being used, it goes away revealing the 10s remaining on the forage skill.
Wish: Pigs knockdown activation time should be reduced to 1.5s at the maximum.
The issue with the fear is that it can be both cleansed by stun breakers and condition clearing.
Actually, it is bugged and does not scale up the daze/stun like it should. I posted that in the ranger bug thread months back but still no fix.
I used to use boar with the fear wolf and I could effectively stun lock people for like a 12 second CC chain. When QZ was still good I could run zerker and handle nearly any one on one with the amount of CC and burst I had available. Landing the porcine knockdown was very challenging but it didn’t take long to get the hang of it. Although, I died many times running passed the item on the ground doing nothing when I tried to pick it up. So yeah, hopefully they change it somehow.
However, if they change it to be like thief steal or something then that would be a little sad since terror necros can use the skull and their fears + epidemic to get like an 8 second long aoe fear that tics for 1.2k+ every half a second or however fast fear tics.

After i’m done finishing my next movie, i’m planning on doing another Technobabble Video on my Ranger using Clerics Gear.
But I always found pigs to be unreliable compared to dogs when doing a CC build.
