I’m sorry to all of those who are aware but I was surprised about the amount of rangers who still thought Bristleback is bugged.

So I decided to stop by and possibly let know those who still haven’t been noted.

Bristleback’s F2 Z axis is successfully fixed for some time
Don’t hesitate to use it.

Cheers.

Hesitate to use this skill at least in WvW. Thing hits like a truck. It hits so fast a player doesn’t even have time to see the license plate to report them to the authorities. Ouch!

I’m not 100% sure it is fixed. At least for mobs. Was killing the Treasure Mushroom in the Glade yesterday, and a bristleback was doing his kitten est to kill me.

I was a little higher up than it, and not one of its spikes hit me . . . they all flew through.

Gone to Reddit.

That’s because it’s the wild form. Our cultivated form learned to hit things through selective breeding.

Yah, the fix seems to apply only to pets and not enemy mobs.

Which is good, because bristlebacks would be a nightmare if you couldn’t “cheese” them with elevation. Constant streams of high-damage tracking projectiles from a mob that takes ages to kill even with full offensive stats. Good luck with that.

I’m 90% sure that the problems hitting at different elevations is actually the way the devs intended for you to fight bristlebacks, The pets having the same limitation was probably just something that got carried over and overlooked.
