Budget Raiding
The most common version for low cost is magi with cleric trinkets.

I can’t even promote/side with slotting cleric trinkets as there are plenty of groups where the tank barely stacks enough toughness (1 Knight’s amulet) and could interfere with aggro.
Budget & overall-group friendly raiding gear is full exotic Magi equipment with Exquisite Sapphire (Cleric) Jewels slotted into your Magi trinkets & backpiece. Both armor & trinkets are available thru Orr Temple Karma vendors, which saves plenty on coin.
That said, what gold you do save goes into buying a Sigil of Transference for each Staff. The cost is worth it since the alternative is Water & Renewal. The difference in cost is roughly 10g between the sigils, which isn’t too bad, all things considered.

^So i would go for Magi Exotic Trinks instead of Cleric asc trinks ..
I normally play with berserker/viper gear and a zealot staff (if berserker). Honestly you don’t need much healing power to keep your group alive. Don’t invest too much into a healing set.
Chances are if they are dying because you can’t heal them, it’s because they are standing in AoEs. And that’s a far bigger issue than your healing power.

Pointless changing the trinkets, keep the zerk trinkets (or whatever you are using). Put on a magi armor with monk runes and a staff with transference and water sigils. That’s 40 % outgoing healing when combined with the minor grandmaster trait, you won’t need more healing power. If your team can’t surivive with that, the druid isn’t the issue.
Transference isn’t worth the gold cost. Run Magi trinkets and zerk gear, asc or exotic whatever you can afford to get. Magi Staff for sure, you should be camping staff and healing the team, also GoL should be up as much as you can keep it up. Swap the Magi/Zerk with zealots as you gain more experience or gold.
edit: the problem won’t be gearing a toon, it’s going to be getting people to take you on raids with subpar gear tbh unless you’re running with a group of friends. If you’re pugging you will be the first person they blame if they fail even if you did no wrong.

Yes. Keep in mind what others have said though. Do raids with your friends/guild(s), as they would (most-likely) be flexible than PUGing. As for zerk vs healing trinkets, you can go either way, but keep both in your bag. Keep in mind though that if you are using a double-staff setup, you might as well go for over-topping heals as Staff does little damage to begin with.
If your team has the dps and the mechanics down, but tend to go down here or there, slot in the healing trinkets. If they are taking hits due to having a slower reaction time (usually older players) or a bit-higher-than-safe latency, the full-healing setup can be a small, yet, deciding factor that aids in the contribution towards a win.
