Hi everyone. I run a variation of Faux’s RRR build, generally going for a x/x/30/10/x build.

Here’s the link… http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vMEQNAV3fjEqUxaNL+rw1qgYVQQtHaq/YiVwQvCxyVYUVMVD-zkCBYhCyUDQUFA0Hw5dFRjtMsIasadCyaGYqUJ1roIa1kCAmdVA-w

so the goal behind the build was to juggle healing power and precision to create a survivalist build that creates alot of bleed stacks through sigil/trait stacking and from the lynx pounce. naturally i lose alot by dropping dwayna runes losing 2 chances to proc regen, But i felt for roaming that traveler runes provide a nice balance giving a bit of everything, (Boon duration for regen procs, Condi duration for crossfire bleeds)

If you look at my crossfire, I’ve achieved a 5 second bleed duration with my auto attack, which i thought was nice, and was a noticable difference as reaching 25 stacks of bleeding became much easier if it came down to having to kite a fight.

so TL/DR-
-Trying to keep surviability up, while maintaining the utility of traveler runes and not equiping signet of the hunt >_<

-trying to keep alot of condition pressure on the enemy through bleeds poison and fire.

any of you stat maxxing people out there know of any ways for me to maximize the numbers on this build? (other than going ascended) Thanks!

I don’t know why you’re spreading your traits so thin, It looks like you’d be weakening yourself way too much by doing so.

Also, it looks like you’ve done most of your planning on paper, which really doesn’t work out since Cross Fire has to hit from behind, which is much harder to do than before, ALSO, your crit chance is abysmal, if you want to take advantage of that bleeds on crit trait you’re going to want to drop your poison oil, take up a potent master oil (increases crit chance by 3%), drop the rabid gear for Rampager, and have some perma fury of somesort.

Personally, I thought you were going to go with a build similar to mine (idk why i thought that since i’m the only one mad enough to run Magi), where you run Magi armor (full set other than trinkets, that stuff is clerics), 20 (or maybe it was 25…) in skirmishing taking the 30% pet crit trait and might on crit, 20 in WS, 20 in BM, and the rest in NM, sure most of my damage was locked up in my pet, but i was tanky, i was able to boost my pet, and i brought enough CC from my weapons and utilities i could kite for days.

Don’t remember what my rune set was, I think it was like Eagle or something like that (crit chance and crit damage).

TL/DR:

Your points are too spread, your focus is lacking both utility and gear/pet wise, I see what you’re TRYING to get at, but you’re going to need to make quite a few changes to get there.

If you want a Survivable condi dealer there are PLENTY of builds that do this nicely already, I’m pretty sure they normally go like 10/0/30/0/30 or something like that (i’m sure you can find one of them on this forum really easily)

They sing dark, delicious notes about power and family.
As their mother, I have to grant them their wish. – Forever Fyonna

i agree crossfire is very situational, trying the build out in practice earlier yeilded good results, but i wasn’t satisfied with them, i felt like i was carrying the build, the bleeds stacks(With RAO) were very consistant, but i did have to disengage a thief who was destroying me (25 stacks of BL, 5 gaurd killer, 100 power 10% crit food one of those guys -_-) so i’ definetally feeling the loss of tank.

I’m thinking about ditching the 10 in marksmanship and going 20 into BM, for a 0/10/30/10/20 build

assuming the tooltip is correct on crossfire losing the 5 second bleed does kill alot of that auto attack dps. kinda sucks but the surviability as it sits is low. ill play around some and post back
