Yak’s Bend(TWIN) Racist against Sylvari
RRR Ranger and Warrior videos: http://www.youtube.com/user/ElmoezHerra?feature=watch
Been a condi melee ranger forever, but past month I’ve been roaming as a LB/Staff Druid. I love it, I just can’t decide between Wilderness line or Nature magic.
WS:
-20% endurance regen
-Oakheart salve
-Protection on dodge
-Shared anguish
-EB
-Bark skin
vs:
NM:
-Rejuv at 50% health
-1% dmg per boon on me
-Fortifying bond for boon sharing
-Evasive purity, which I love and really helps with thieves
-20% boon duration, with my runes AND FOOD ends up being 50%
-Protective ward which is freakin dope
HELP MEEEEEEEEEEE
-
Also forgot to add for solo wvw roaming
I can’t run LB/staff without skirmishing. It just offers so much flexibility with the stealth, KB, damage, healing, movement, etc. all doubled up. Whatever you need at that moment is what you double up on.
I run in both PvP and WvW BM, skirmishing, druid.
On-demand solutions are way better than the passives of the two lines you mentioned, and 99.9999999999% of the ranger community will disagree with me on that, so….
Nature Magic:
-Since you are not running survival skills
-Love boons and your pets
I’m not really sure though since you haven’t shown what build those two trait lines are competing for slots in.
NM fore sure,
Better defence and better damage.

(trooper rune has somem merits over durability, but i think durability is better).
NM is making you able to stack 25 might for both you and your pet, with the 1% dmg per boon bonus for both you and your pet(like 5% each of average) its crzy damage boost. All of your utilities are defensive and you have druid powers to sustain clear condies etc..
It really depends on the rest of your build. Are you running shouts with trooper runes? Roaming without condi cleanse right now would be pretty rough.
I’m using runes of durability w/ 2 glyphs, protect me, RAO and shout heal
I prefer druid, beastmastery, skirmishing. If you are gonna drop skirmishing then you HAVE to go with nature magic because of the synergy between we heal as one and fortifying bond.
I’m fore wilderness survival myself. it’s like the warrior defense line to me. “don’t leave home without it.”
It really ends up depending on your utility and gear specs.
Just gonna post spvp build here (Since it’s faster/easier to complete but you can customize further in wvw). This build unquestionably has the best condi clear in game.
This would be a rough skeleton of what to run. It depends on your gear set up but this has solid clears. 4 condi clears every 10 secs, and 1 condi clear on shout use, and not to mention, 13 condi clear upon entering cele state which you can refill to max before the cooldown ends on exiting it. An emergency swap all condis to pet with signet if needed but I don’t think you’ll need it. Make sure you swap pets after you transfer the condis so it doesn’t die. And energy isn’t nerfed in wvw. Again, this is built to assume you have the necessary toughness to mitigate power damage. 2.7k armor minimum is recommended. And putting your pet on passives is definitely a must. So you can control when they engage/disengage and don’t have them get caught in multiple aoes/condi bombs.
