Cele amulet
Cele isn’t mandatory now. Crusader is pretty nice= Power, Healing, Toughness, ferocity
As far as next patch, that depends on what they change and how everything plays out.
Crusader have too much synergy with remorseless builds, and therefore either the amulet will be taken away, or our traits reworked.
I’ve been screwing around with crusaders, warrior runes, and quickdraw. They compliment each other well. I was using Lyssa for the precision and condi clear to use primal echoes, but even though I prefer that setup, I just felt too hampered without druidic clarity. Also Lyssa without cele leaves your health dangerously low.

A.net wish some rangers will go MM over one of our defensive traitlines/BM. The remorseless build while strong, still suffer from lack of surivavibility compared to more meta builds. If anything, the shouts re-wrok is the thing that might make this build shine, playing one glyph and 4 shouts with trooper rune, we’ll c.

This week I also switched my build with celec amulet to crusader, also with lyssa rune, havn’t felt at all the effect of the hp removal. With so much armor/healing and condi removal, my survivebility was as good as ever. Lysaa is actually great with builds that uses crusader but dont go for remorseless as it probably the best precision rune.
I don’t expect Crusader’s Ammy to be the new gold standard for Druid. The lack of vitality will most likely be an even bigger liability after the 26th thanks to how Necros/Reapers are gonna look. Crusader’s also really only works with Marksmanship, which then means you’re probably taking GS to work with Remorseless…….And GS has some serious weaknesses in the current meta that aren’t likely to just go away.
Honestly all 4 of the new stat combinations look like they have some promise. As always the big thing is going to be where the meta settles for other classes, and what roles we’ll be able to fill relative to that. Sage’s and Mender’s stand out in particular to me.
And hey, worst case? There’s still Marauder’s.

It was mostly that I was using Lyssa runes in place of druidic clarity, like we talked about in another thread. Once I gave up on primal echoes — it still works and is very fun, I just felt not as strong as DC — I didn’t need so much condi removal. Warrior runes are just an experiment, but I like what they give me. Everything they add fits very nicely with what I’m doing, which I can’t say about every rune (even Lyssa has that random 5% boon duration.)
Mercenary’s Amulet
1050 Power
1050 Condition
560 Toughness
560 Vitality
This on the sword/torch build, and Crusaders on more power focused builds.
Really, ANet has just taken celestial away and added amulets that they believe people tended to specialize towards with celestial, so finding the right stat split for your build with the existing and the new amulets shouldn’t be too difficult.
As far as what will become the most used, or “meta” option, well, that depends on where all the different classes and builds end up during the weeks to follow the patch.

If thieves are going to be as scary as anet made them out to be (and they showed a 4k autoattack on the heavy golem), toughness or just pure glass will be all you can run .

Ya, the 5% boon duration is annoying and also the nerf to some boons on pvp(like 5 sec protection and not 10 sec).

Thieves can have 4k auto attacks with sword currently, with NO changes.
Here are the notes. It doesn’t look that op, I guess we will see how it actually plays out in game.
Thief Notes
Our goal with Acrobatics is to boost the regenerative ability of the thief and remove conditions more frequently.
Fleet Shadow changed to Instant Reflex (gain evasion for 2s when struck below the health threshold –50%, 40s CD).
Upper Hand – Changed to give regeneration when you evade an attack (in addition to the initiative gain). Cooldown also reduced from 3s to 2s.
Basilisk Venom – Your attacks are unblockable in addition to turn foes to stone. This works with Venomous Aura so all your ally attacks will be unblockable.
Withdraw healing has been increased by 10%.
Autoattack damage for sword not changed but the frequency has increased. Overall damage increased by about 30%.
Black Powder has its aftercast removed.
Dagger autoattack damage increased.
Bandit’s Defense, you can now block for the full duration of 1.5s.
Staff got some damage increase as well.
