A Jack of All, Master of none Ranger:
-Average Condition damage (bleeds ticking around 84/s, poison 166/s)
-Average Physical damage (1500 Power with 92% Critical Damage and 40% Critical Chance)
-Above Average Survival
-Average Support but since Ranger support doesn’t use much Healing Power, it’s quite good

Cele SB is one of the main builds on metabattle. Tons of people play it.

GS for … Celestial … ?
That’s news for me. It lacks lots of … Everything. Insufficient condi cleanse, insufficient condi pressure, insufficient direct burst, insufficient defenses…

There are hundreds of times better setups for Celestial Shortbow.

I Play mostly SB/GS for the last 2 years and I tried tons of builds and variations with SB/GS in and out of spvp(WVW/OS). I think celec sb builds shine on spvp but out of pvp its not enough to take down sustain builds like D/D ele or Hammer/GS warriors – So I switched to full zerk and I actually find it much better that my celec setup My solo roaming build is –

I change the traits from time to time, Like BS for EB or EP for enlargment etc…

If you want jack of all trades then you need support, and SB/GS offers zero support.

I would suggest x/x/6/6/x with natures voice/guard and axe/warhorn.

Then at least you are providing boons, heals, and some cleave with ricochet.

I love the GS with SB and Celestial, usually I would have MoC on there, but I was looking for some different builds. Mostly, I would run with something like this and I find it quite good. GS has loads of defense and utility, that is why it is there. Try it out some time.
