Change Idea to Improve Longbow for Groups
Improving a weapon by adding a new condition? And I assume that this new condition (exposed) is only to be found on the Longbow?
Also, how is this “exposed” so much better for group play than the vulnerability stacking that you can do now with the LB?

I presume he means it would apply vulnerability and exposed? Even if that isn’t the case, a unique utility this powerful would be something most groups would want. I’m not convinced it would be as powerful as he intends with the longbow though as in PvE longbow is still awful compared to the shortsword so you’d only want to swap to longbow to apply vuln (and it’s hardly our only way to apply vuln) but then of course with no trait to reduce cooldown time, we’re stuck in the weapon (and in melee range no less) for the full cycle. Quite a personal DPS loss just to give the group extra crit damage.
1) Alpha Training (15 points) merged into Opening Strike (5 points)
2) Precise Strike (25 points) moved to Master Adept (15 points)
3) Remorseless (30 points) moved to Grandmaster Adept (25 points)
4) create new Grandmaster Major (30 points).
5) improved Predator’s Instinct (10 points) switched with Piercing Arrows (20 points)
Why?
Ranger longbow currently gets:
- Steady Focus
- Piercing arrows
- Eagle Eye
After change:
- Piercing Arrows
- Eagle eye
- Remorseless
- Signet of the Beastmaster or Spotter or the new grandmaster trait
Longbow has access to some really good traits. It just can’t get them all.
I would like to not be rooted when using barrage.
This way, it will be more verastile than before. Instead of using it as an AoE attack on a cluster of mobs or using it as a barrier. You can now chase enemies by blocking off an exit and escape by slowing enemies down.
