So I really want to make a Charr Ranger. Is it just me or do they look awful with the longbow. How they draw the bow string back at a strange angle.
Does anyone here run a Charr Ranger and how do they find it please?

from what i’ve experienced from the flame legion fractal, i actually like the longbow animations. I also REALLY like the greatsword animations (more than my sylvari rangers greatsword animation)

I rather enjoy my charr ranger. The stance he takes kind of makes sense given they probably don’t have the same shoulder flexibility as humans.

That being said I suggest you make your charr ranger with small or folded back horns. It really bugs me when the horn is obviously clipping with the invisible bow string.

Love love my Charr Ranger. Coolest animations, quite opposing looking with LB/SB or GS animations. No real problem on the bowstring; if you’re that technical find a good helm or minimize horn length.
Something is lacking on 1H animations, not as fierce. IMO.
I have a Charr Ranger and Norn female ranger and I usually side with Charr.

Charr rangers make Rapid Fire look effortless to execute <3

Equip Sword+dagger/GS, and slot Signet of Stone, Lightning Reflexes and Hidden Pistol.

Evade, evade, evade, leap, evade, immune, immune, immune, block, evade, evade, leap, evade…

Or play spirits and slot Warband Support for even more pets!

And who needs a bow when you can have a Charzooka?

I MAIN charr ranger… absolutely love it! U’ll get over how the string is drawn!

I enjoy playing both my charr rangers. One is a ‘trapper’ with sword/dagger combo, and the other uses signets with longbow, with short bow as a backup. Loads of fun to play, with good animations all round!
