ok, WvW rangers, a quick opinion please…

Option1 —> 68% crit chance+66% crit damage

vs

Option2 —> 50% crit chance vs 85% crit damage

Power is nearly the same on both (2100).
Damage Reduction is similar (34%).
Armor is around 2750 on both.
Option 2 has 2000 more health.

Using shortbow mainly is 50% good enough? I have always found it so in PvE.

With Shortbow? Option one so you can get more crits on the smaller, faster hits. If I were to use say Greatsword, I’d choose the second option.

Renno – Stonegard – Aece
80 Thief – 80 Warrior – 80 Guardian – 80 Ranger
80 Mesmer – 80 Necromancer

I’d take option 1 because I prefer a lot of crits vs big numbers…
