By red line I mean once crossed your gaming experience plummets, for me:

Ignoring Ranger pets becomes the predominate strategy in sPvP and WvW.

If that happens I will pretty much lose most of the joy playing this class, how about you?

Edit: By ignore I mean your foe no longer cares to dodge pet key abilities and simply forgets about it completely.

I don’t use pet for dps. Wolves KD, cripple and F2 are always good.

Outside of that, I play ranger because I want archer. I don’t care what others think, it’s working for me.

If the ranger pet stops being a damage threat ill stop playing mine most likely. I dont want a warrior, i already have 1.

I wish pets were more about utility than the ranger’s damage.

checking in, the game crossed that line a few months back. Haven’t logged in since.

I think if you could change the pets f2 to any of their abilities. and their pathing wasnt so awful the pets would be fairly viable. as it is now….they need some help.

my pet has been chasing people and if they double back the way they came the pet lets them run past before it attacks …i mean..really lol

If they nerf the burst potential of the Ranger even further. Like reducing the damage of the River Drake, axes, or greatsword, by a significant amount. I’m not interested in playing a trap or bunker Ranger.

yeah, im already displeased with my ele since their nerf…if they change the ranger for the worse, im leaving the game…for sure.
