The build is a pretty neutral build, is built around being versatile and getting out decent damage output without giving up too much staying power. It’s not very reliant on the pet, I just consider the pet damage a bonus and mainly just use them for quickness and some utilities rather them being my primary source of damage ( I like beastmaster builds but I’m not happy with where the pet AI is at the moment )
Gear is pretty simple stuff:
6xcarrion armour 5xkrait runes 1x ruby orb(laziness)
beserker weps, I use sb/gs/sword/horn/dagger Whatever I feel like myaaan sigils usually revolves around some kind of condition (bleeds or boosting condition damage)
Trinkets are: rabid back/zerker amulet/ rest as carrion trinkets
Skills are TU if solo/ HS if grouped, QZ, Spike trap, SoH/SoR/LR depending on how I feel, entangle
traits are 5/30(I,II,VIII)/30(VI,IX,XI)/0/5
I play WvW solely so I eat food (I’m not made of money so Minotaur steaks and quality maintenance oil does the job)
As I said earlier I don’t like the pets wonkey AI so I run dual dogs, that kb/control utility comes in really nicely when it hits
As a bit of backstory I’m a dueler/roamer on maguuma, my build was mainly condition based at first with no precision at all, after playing with karlesi, or Sol on these forums (he’s the best ranger I’ve played with and does some great videos, you should check him out if you haven’t) I realised I was doing something wrong and retraited/swapped out some weapons to increase my crits without affecting my condition damage too much and was decently happy with the results
I feel it’s a fairly neutral build with the only thing really missing being healing power which I’m not too fussed about, I didn’t read the forums and the build was pretty much built organically from feeling what went right and what didn’t from my time in WvW
