Comment from Devs about Ranger Pets

That “response” from the Devs (and consequent complete lack of action two years after launch—as sad as that is) is specifically about pet names.

It rather specifies their attitude towards the matter concerning this area.
Which can very easily be implemented to your question. Which means it is going to fit the “frank and up to date 2015 response”.
In the ranger section Peters posted that they are aware of the passive/aggressive issues that were caused a while ago. I also believe that in a dev video/stream it was said that all AI in the game was getting a serious over haul,ranger pets included.
Once pets can hit a moving target and get 1.5seconds evade upon ranger dodge roll I think pets will be in a fairly decent place.

They said they are aware of the bug they caused by launching the latest update.
Which is more or less admitting the fault of spoiling something that worked.
Our case something that always worked, but was implemented wrong.
