Condi ranger dps Pve?
For ideal perfected situation and stationary fight – the DPS keeps balancing around ~8100 in Viper stats. More if you are in a party thanks to Sun Spirit.
Without Food Buffs or Nourishment.

*Note
I wasn’t using Frost Spirit because plenty of people thought that if you bring a Condi Ranger into a group – it basically means the enemies have high toughness and all of you will be running Condi stats…
If you don’t know what’s your content you should bring Frost Spirit, though.

try this. your survival is very high and you can dish out so many bleeds/burns. once you get the rotations down you can pop 15-25 bleeds at the start of a fight AND maintain them. i have gotten and maintained 35-38 stacks and have reached 45 stacks when i dont have to kite. seen bleeds reach 4-6k and burns 3-5k per second.
not sure how i would feel switching to Vipers set due to the loss of Toughness. mobs in HoT will truck you if you are not careful in glassy gear.
@GiggleFairy
The Bleeding druid is mostly a … WvW or open world build. It is a very bad idea to play it in Fractals or dedicated content. A clear answer why is the Shortbow that is the lowest DPS weapon from all Raw and Condi weapons out there.
i go zerker in dungeons or run a condition build for high level fractals due to toughness scaling. right now people are farming open world for masteries. the build i posted works for it and is a lot of fun. on metabattle there is a Vipers(not updated on armor as it still uses sinister still) A/T Condi Ranger. that is the one that is meta.

This sounds fair enough. I just felt like having it clarified might help.
The DPS I tested was pretty much the build (with Viper’s nest in place of Frost Spirit and SotP in place of entangle) for that maximized DPS.
I was thinking of doing the test for 2 million but a revenant came pulsing boons and proccing spirit so I cut the test as soon as I could to avoid averted results.

Any chance you could test on a moving target? This would be helpful for higher-level fractals, HoT maps, and raids in PvE, as these enemies do not remain still.

Which content do you want tested exactly? Will the moving gollem in PvP zone do? I’m still way too far from Viper’s Set for HoT.

I think the moving golem would be a fantastic baseline in general. There’s all sorts of fun enemies in HoT that have long-term invulnerable periods, require breakbar removal, move out of AoEs, dodge, stealth, and condition cleanse, but those would be much harder to standardize for tests, especially considering they tend to spawn in groups. Maybe when raids come out there will be easier testing with the improved AI/mechanics of those mobs/bosses?
Will try tomorrow Scrimshaw, it’s late night here already.
Stay tuned.
EDIT:
Test failed on my behalf.

how about the dps between zerk rev and condi ranger anyone know?
This post seems relevant to the thread in general.

Condition spec is needed in Heart and Mind extreme mode.
So I’m planning on making one too.
@Scrimshaw
I am terribly sorry for I haven’t found a way to test the on-the-move DPS of Viper Ranger (PvP gollem dies way too early to measure anything). The measurement I made from fractals (sinister) was irrelevant since the numbers are always cut down when NPC dies and lots of DPS is counted as an echo where you are not dealing DPS plus there always is a different number of targets hit.
But I can tell you from personal experience that you rarely “waste” your abilities in fractals. You are not really kiting that much and your AoE abilities like Trap and Bonfire usually ticks down till the blob of enemies is in Entangle.
Condi Ranger DPS goes down drastically if the target’s movement is Chaotic – and you can lead PvE mobs the way you please, so it’s not a real concern.
Condi Ranger suffers in Open World PvE where the NPC mobility is chaotic. The DPS there is roughly 50% lower.

That’s the Condi Druid for PvE content. Sigil of Geomany on Torch and weapon swap on cooldown, use Bonfire right after weapon swap and you put Bonfire on an 8 sec CD. Glyph of Empowerment is a 13% party increase because the seed it spawns makes a stack of Grace of the Land. When your Celestial Avatar is off cooldown activate it press 4 then press F5 to leave. The animation finishes and gives 5 stacks of Grace of the Land.
Viper Armor/Weapons, Sinister Trinkets, Sigil of Geomany on Torch, Sigil of Agony I think (Bleeding Duration sigil).
