Edit: Also, a “destroy” command for Spirit. I recall someone posting about wanting that since they can’t move to force a reset mid-combat. Pop that active and reset it!

Guard also no longer has a cast time. Coupled with the new revive trait, it could make for some interesting uses for my crappy all shout ranger that I made.

The problem with the destroy command: Anet decided to give every spirit a 30 second cooldown, instead of the current 20 second cooldown.

Let’s see the active/passive effects of the spirits. Let see if the still stay just for 60 seconds.

I see a nerf there no an improvement.

The way to move it was the swap the spirit of the skill bar and then back on. The spirit dies and goes on 20 s cd. Now we get 30 s instead…cool.

I’m thinking the water spirit will end up being even crappier now, even though they got rid of the double cast time thing… Unless it does some crazy stuff like clean all condis and put out a massive heal on being popped.
I couldn’t recall if one of the traits reduced spirit cooldowns… might be worth considering as a buff, I suppose.

I’m overly cautious about the “1s boon every 3s” description. They mentioned that a boon could be might, and that one spirit may offer Stability.
All I can say is that 1s of Might would be pathetic, even if it was a decent stack size, so I am hoping they use more meaningful and powerful boons for a GM status such as Stability, Resistance, Quickness, Fury, and Aegis.

Yup, you’re already dead by the time that spirit cd is up
Please mates do not forget that now if traited you get the active skill cast when the spirit dies and after the change you won’t.
That was usefull because you can’t keep an eye in the lifebar of your spirit and also you don’t know how much time has left.
