Please share them, still haven’t found a use for this.

Just the other day i was doing an event concerning babysitting engineers to repair a bridge.
I had a glimpse of hope since i had to hold my own on both sides of the bridge (no other players around), so i cast guard on the side of the bridge and proceeded to the other edge of the interrupted bridge, unfortunetly as soon as i hit the water, the pet changed to aquatic, then back to terrestrial once i hit land, thus resetting the “guard” usage.

So close…

My sig has volume 1 and 2

The only useful place for it is WvW.
You can send it down hills or up, but i’m pretty sure they will “fix” it, since it means fun and a ranger skill not beeing useless.

The bug is where you can throw your pet up on a tower or off the wall to attack

But it is a bug and Anet said it will be removed at some point.

But it is fun to throw the panther up there with stealth and let him go to town.

@OP: I use it in sPvP for super stealth drake breathe assassinations, nothing says “SURPRISE!” Like 5 stacks of confusion and a kitten ton of damage from my beloved Bubbles who snuck up behind them to scream in their ear!

i see no problem with sending a cat or a bird to the top of a wall this way. makes sense. if its a cat, it has claws. it climbed. if its a bird, well duh. it flew. nothing is more fun that watching people leap off the tower fleeing my kitty. you can almost see the “OMGWTF” on their faces. XD.

sending him down to guard the gate when a tower is under siege is also fun. and F4 right before he dies. poof. no more pet to beat on. haha. :-P

i would be very sad if this went away. it’s too much fun, and i heartily thank Xsorus for showing me this.

THAT SOUNDS AWESOME. Sounds unviable in tPvP though….. I’m gonna have to try IT!

I use guard to put my pet on cool spots like on top of pillars so I can stand on adjacent ones and we can look at kittenes together….

It’s worked in tPvP for me, the pet is invisible so you just gotta lure them into position, it’s hard to land on thieves due to their naturally high mobility, but everyone else I don’t have much issues with.

I wonder if you could use it coupled with the jaguar to make even competitive teams think that they are getting hit by a thief or something.
