As I look more at Knight’s vs Soldier’s for the Ranger, I wanted to try to figure out the power coefficients for the various Ranger weapon skills. The coefficient dictates how much +damage per power the skill gets. That is, a coefficient of 0.50 means that 100 power would make the skill do 100 * 0.50 = 50, so +50 damage, 200 would do +100 damage, and so on.
For some of the skills, you’ll see #3.0. This is for skills that have only one activation.
For other skills, you’ll see 1.1, 1.2, 1.3. This is for skills that have attack chains, damage at multiple ranges (longbow), or multiple activations (like sword #2, greatsword #4)
For those curious how I got the data:
I went into the mists and grabbed a Rabid, Knight, and Soldier amulet. I believe I remember resetting my traits, and I had Runes of Dwayna on my armor (no +power). If you need the exact power amounts, please let me know and I’ll give those out.
I then just looked at the tooltips for each skill and recorded the direct damage it says. I’m aware that some of these may be wrong (swoop we know is wrong), but I still used what the tooltip says for the sake of consistency.
For calculating the coefficients, I took the difference for Solder vs Knight, Soldier vs Rabid, and Knight vs Rabid and for each I took (dmg difference / power difference).
The guild wars 2 wiki has dmg coefficients posted for weapon skills. The numbers they posted are quite different than the ones you’ve posted.

Check it out.
Added to the Compilation Thread!
Hmmm. That is interesting.
I’ll have to go back and do it with steady weapons and see what happens.
Feel free to do it via tooltips (like I did initially due to lack of time).
The different amounts of power I used were: 916; 1,560; and 1,839
