I always stare at your ranger when I see you on the field (I play Faelwan for [SF],you may have seen me around). I just think you have the coolest outfit. Would you mind sharing a picture of it and your build with the forums? Awesomely cool look!

It was a well thought out—sophisticated, yet casual outfit. Next time I see him/her I’m taking a screen cap for you guys.

Alright, here’s the imgur album. I’m in the center of the screen wearing basic karma armor; DeWolfe is looking pretty unique and really stands out in a sea of dark colors (people love their shades of black).

….that is pretty classy, actually. Pulls off a clean casual look really well.

Man, I am going to go crazy trying to figure out that body piece. Those non trenchcoat medium armor pieces are pretty hard to come by.

I fail to see how anyone can think that armor setup is “the best”? No offense, but it looks like blue jeans and a sleeveless sweater.

It all comes down to personal taste I guess. I prefer the darker colors, and the more rugged look in an MMO like this. Especially for a ranger.

They are both inside one of the guild puzzles. I cant remember whakittens actually called off the top of my head, but its the one just south east of the black citadel.

dont look as unique as some of u guys, but eh.

I adored the Krytan armor look in GW1 and just had to buy it. It goes really well with Rox’s quiver too

That place looks like the Langmar Estate Guild Puzzle where we need to open some curtains and do an emote to open the door.

Yeah, it seems to be that guild puzzle. It’s beautifully rendered.

How about amazesome? IMO it’s one of the better looking hoods, and one of maybe two cowl-type hoods (Whispers being the other, iirc). The others are mainly mask-oriented, which I guess is fine if you’re a ninja or a bandit.

Actually just saw someone that had about 90% of the same armor on.

i like the organic theme. all my characters are in TA or sylvari armors.

I’m a particular fan of the magitech armor for women. The trick is that just the chestpiece doesn’t have all the technical bits and bobs, and instead just looks like an extremely stylish coat, which is perfect for a noble born human. The Pants… Well, the pants were chosen because awesome. Besides, you never see someone wearing the commando stuff.

Oddly enough I used basically the same outfit, just using the norn T2 legs instead of the jeans, after seeing this I picked up a pair to see how it would look, I kind of like it honestly.

Looks good! I like the Krytan vest as well.
I posted my ranger a while back in the mix and match thread. The prowler pants match quite well, as the top part looks like it’s part of the vest.

I think this combo really has a “Ranger” look to it. The gloves look like something an archer would wear.

Just realised I didn’t post what dewolf was using on his char,
Obviously the top is the krytan jerkin, part of the krytan armour set on the gemstore
the jeans I found on the TP called: Quiet Leather Leggings, they’re about 20s
The shoes I couldn’t tell, but the warden shoes available as a skin from the WvW armour skins vendor for about 40 badges of honour work pretty well.

As far as colours go, krytan jerkin, you want a white as possible shirt, I was too poor for a real white, so I used icing dye, and the jacket you’ll want to go orangy-red as it makes the colours look more brown
With the jeans you want to go for something that’s like a dull blue with maybe a hint of green, sincerity works well and a darker brown is used for the belt, as that colour is lightened on the jeans.
For the boots a dark brown works well, personally I use the hotw dungeon token boots, because with whiteish dye you can make them look like a pair of converse, which is cool.

Krytan is the best armor available for Asura in my opinion as well…

Um, aside from the hat and gloves… err… and the shoulders…

Some nice setups…. arg i usually do full armor from x place ><" so i know myself what set i’m wearing/looking for in my bags ><". Ohwell time to work towards mix&match Commander set. My spvp look atm, even the weapons work with the color theme atm:

Here are my PvP front/back and my PvE front/back setups.
I went with a more natural look on my PvP armor to really bring out the Sylvari in my character. And went with a more mysterious ranger theme on the other.
