If I have two different types of wolves as pets, will their knockdown share the same cooldown, or will they each get a knockdown?

They each get their own. Even dual pets (like white and black ravens or the two immob spiders) don’t share cds, it might look like their F2s share cool downs… but they don’t. You can still use the second one even though the cd from the first pet will show over the F2 skill.

Are you sure about that? The HoM duplicate pets used to occasionally share cool downs. It seemed to come and go from one patch to the next. This was a couple of years ago though so maybe they finally fixed it for good?

They have separate cds. Ex. Dog/wolf combo which is commonly used in pvp.

Good to hear, I haven’t tried running 2 of the same pet (HoM version) in a long time. Back when they were sharing the cooldowns everyone was pretty convinced the change was intended. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Rainbow-Blue-jellyfish-sharing-skill-cooldown/first#post3389446

I’ve played this game since launch. From my experience they have NEVER shared cool downs despite appearing like they do. Which is why I think people thought they did….

I can assure you they did. It was off and on for at least a few months. I used to run double jelly fish and I would use the whirl, swap and whirl again. Sometimes it would appear to be on cooldown and still work, sometimes it just wouldn’t work. I eventually just swapped 1 to a shark and stopped worrying about whether it would get fixed or not.

Yeah it’s a bug with the interface showing petskills on CD I think, but they always used to work independantly anyway.
