Hey guys,

a see ranger ‘Hitzer’ in lvl 80 ranked PVP guys twitch streams.

I think he is playing really tanky, invulnerablity, stability high up time build.

Does anybody knows its build I like to play with it little bit.

He runs 6 in skirmish, 6 in wilderness, and 6 in BM I believe. I know the first 2 are right for sure.

He is a ranked 80 pvp player and I saw him several days in different twitch channels and I thought he is known member of the ranger community.

MOC could also be steady focus, not sure regarding this one.

Cant put him on amulet/runes/sigils. The amulet is a power one ofc(zerk/mara/crusader?).

Well, I looked closly for enlargment as i expectd it. But no enlargment and not brutish seals(which is obvious pick if u go both SOS and enlargment). Also, I had a clear vision of the wolf icon from call of the wild( but I guss it could also be from pack rune so i cant be 1005 sure).

Notice this guy also have shared agunish(my speculation) so it seems he got very good CC defence.

RAO is not 3 sec every 60s, its refreshing the 3 sec stability for the duration of 9sec.

PM him/her in-game?

He is a thief that’s been playing ranger. So he isn’t a prominent ranger.

So I’m going to agree with LughLongArm’s posted build.

From what I could deduce:
Marks: Clarion Bond, ???(not MoC though), Remorseless
Skirm: Primal Reflexes (only one that makes sense to me), Spotter, Quick Draw
WS: Oakheart Salve, Shared Anguish, Wilderness Knowledge

Right side skills:
Troll Unguent, Lightning Reflexes, Quickening Zephyr, Signet of Stone, RaO.

Weapons: Longbow(? sigils) and Greatsword (hydromancy/??)

Unknown runes

Pets: Wolf and Owl

Another piece of the pazzle. He’s using traveler rune, i can c avidance of boon duration(6 stability from RAO) and i cant think of any other source that makes sense.

“???(not MoC though” , ya I did say it could also be “steady focus”, I just saw a realy heavy hit from owl and i wasnt sure how did he crit like that if not BM.

I think people are looking for the exact build, since there are multitudes of variants.

Seen him play a bit , he runs this:

6 – marks , enlargement -> moc -> remorseless
6 – skirmishing , vigor on evade -> spotter -> quick draw
6 – wilderness, oakheart salve -> shared anguish -> wilderness knowledge

utils: lightning reflexes , stone , QZ , elite: RAO but sometimes entangling roots

heal: troll

runes: traveler

greatsword – hydromancy / energy
longbow – energy / air

owl pet
wolf pet

Pretty sure I saw a pack rune proc on him once. But the linked traits from lugh appear correct.

I respect hitzer much more for his thief play, but yes hes running a pretty cookie cutter lb/gs build. the new lb/gs can look really nice if played aggressively, but really doesn’t bring much to the table and crumbles under pressure.

I ran into him about 30 times over a series of 5-7 games one night. Almost every time I killed him in a 1v1, he would yell out in map chat telling me to run a real build rather than a meta build. Funny thing is, my build is far from meta.

But you run condi so you should win 1v1. He was dumb for fighting you.

I’ve been running Crusader’s ammy since patch. Although, once in a blue moon I’ll switch builds when I’m bored, but that’s like 3-5% of my games.

the problem with lb/gs is the ranger must leave the area when pressured even a little bit. this is why the build is so lackluster. I stick a few condis on any power ranger and just walk away to fight someone else. that’s the sad reality of it.

if you use a more defensive ammy, then you just don’t do enough damage. this is why I only really like valk with 3 stunbreakers in spvp for power and a lot of tank.
