Why does a longbow have the condition damage stat if it doesn’t have any condition damage capabilities in the first place?

Ermmm…maybe because there are condition skills aside from weapon ones? Or traits/sigils that apply bleed on crits?

Either way, you have to choose the gear with the stats you want, not all longbows have condition damage.

Bit late to the party but don’t forget that warriors use longbows too, their f1 does burning plus they can trait for crits to apply bleeds.
