Guild Wars 2

Greetings!

I’m quite annoyed that my pet so easily gains aggro. I want my pet to do damage, but I want the foe to attack me.

Is there any type of pet, or trick, that allows for this kind of playstyle?

Switch a lot your pets (this is a pretty much a good way break their aggro) and use dps pets with low hard CC ability like cats, birds, spiders and drakes. Also try not using hard controle and be the first to engage the fight.

This pet has a 6 second stealth that does not break while it attacks. It also increases its critical damage. Be sure to position yourself that cleaving mobs dont hit you and your pet.

Also it’s a big black cat, that’s always a plus.

Aggro in general are a mess I was playing around (back when they changed the leash length/timing on pet skills) and notice that at certain distance all I had to do was move forward (nothing else hadn’t been attacking) and creatures would consistently run past the pet to engage my ranger the would have to kill it then start the testing all over again.
