Druid Roaming/PvP/1v1
The heals are way too strong. All conditions roll right off. 13 conditions cleansed in one go with no ICD.
I’m not sure where the druid would be best placed just yet but there are going to be very few things that can bring it down.
it heals, but thats all
Just the WvW
R3200+
I think heals are fine, i just think that 100% healing skills with no damage on staff or celestial form, there is nothing to profit on because when you swap to celestial mode your heals will be weak as hell if you won’t play full healer setup, and second, where is damage?! Is this a joke? A first weapon that has no damage at all. Sadly i did expect a mage heavy natural damage dealer, not a support ranger class.. I don’t like where this game is going… (back to trinity)…
I’ll just say this:
You either longbow or condi-blow… so make druid fun, and strong! If you want to make ANOTHER JACK OF ALL TRADES, you can forget it ANET! YOU SAID BEST HEALER, so make it THE BEST AND DELIVER!!

Or the grandmaster root trait… It just seems like a real heal class kinda destroys the whole anti-trinity-system. As much as I’m hyped – from what I see right now – it feels like a step in the wrong direction.
he was wearing no amulet during the stream, almost every healing ability had some type of damage component with it or cc/condition.
So MoC adds a 100% increase to dazes followed by 50% damage if interrupted, so bear with me.
We have Glyph of Tides (a pull or push interrupt), Glyph of Equality (2 sec daze), Lunar Impact (3 sec daze) and Primal Echoes (1 sec daze). So not counting short bow 5, or GS 5, or technobabel (asura trait), we have thee more dazes that can be traited for some possibly serious lockdown strategies. I’m just theory thinking here but a, 2, 4 and 6 second daze in just druid traits/spec alone. There has got to be something there for PvP or WvW roaming.
See you in Tyria.
druid can work on offesinve specs too i think. Very good sustain, condi cleanse, and some of those skills can work very good on power/condi builds – entangle on CC, tons of CC on short CDs. Glyph of unity can be insane dmg in the right situation – getting focused – pop SoS and just let them hit you, multi-player spikes can easily go into 30-40+ hits (think all the clones, rapidfires, sigils etc), and it has a 20s cd.
You also put out some teamsupport even on offensive specs, the lack of some kind of support on power/condi builds was really hurting the ranger when it comes to 2v2s and such.
Ranger core specs are also pretty flexible (cynic would say crap), you can sacrifice one for druid.
And obviously this has serious team support bunker potential.
Cant wait to try it all out, stayed out of betas so far, didnt want to spoil anything but theres no way im not playing the next one

The more I think about it the crazier it gets^^
Maybe like this:
Full Apothecary
WS: Oakheart Salve – Ambidexterity – Empathic Bond/Wilderness Knowledge
BM: Resounding Timbre – Wilting Strike – Beastly Warden
Druid: Primal Echoes/Druidic Clarity – Verdant Etching – Ancient Seeds
Heal as One – Lightning Reflexes – Glyph of Tides – Glyph of Equality – Glyph of Unity/Entangle
Axe/Dagger + Staff
Rune of Melandru
Maybe double birds
Sigil of Energy/Sigil of Leeching on both weaponsets

Exactly my sentiments. It opens the door for many different builds that can now have some team support. I also think Glyph of Unity is going to make focusing a ranger more difficult thankfully.
