Druid and Underwater Combat
The same way Ranger does.
It doesn’t change your underwater weapons.
But Glyphs don’t work nor CAF as of yet. Also, they forgot to add Tigers to the Amphibian group.
And with all the ground-targetting skills, I too wonder how it’ll work.
I would like to see CAF work underwater, given that it is the Druid class mechanic. I am hoping they will add glyphs that function three-dimensionally, like Arcane Blast on Elementalist.
Maybe change it so underwater the CAF skills trigger ON the player (but tweak the radius a bit)
- Cosmic Ray
- Lunar Impact
- Seed of Life
All pop on the player, with tweaks to their radius (and activation times)
Glyphs are not ground targetted so they’ll work fine underwater
Better than Revenant who only has one underwater weapon and I THINK can’t use Ventari under water.
Anet didn’t seem to remember that have an underwater combat system this time around. Disappointing given it was a major selling point of the game.

I have to agree with this.
The more water combat is neglected the more disappointed I feel.
I actually do not enjoy Ranger underwater. What I wouldn’t give if we could have more weapons to swap to.
Or underwater builds.
Or underwater gear we’d switch to (other than a breather).
