Guild Wars 2

I’m having a hard time finding a weapon to swap to that has good synergy with the staff. I feel almost like I’m getting counter productive when I actually swap. Anyone have any tips?

With the caveat that this was only for wvw, i used the GS. Staff 3 + GS 3 gives plenty of movement, and for disengaging, you have Staff 5 and GS 4 to deal with projectiles in your back. If you’ve got MoC traited for the celestial form too, GS 5 gets double daze, which may have its use.

It’s purely for defense/mobility though, and i was using the staff most of the time, but there you go.

I second great sword, I was using the daze/ ancient seeds traits. Probably the only thing I liked out of druid and it wasn’t that great. I heard people were having some success running some sort of axe war horn / staff cele build as well.

I am really really liking LB + staff. You can kite forever with staff #3 and the trait celestial shadow.

I think SB should be a nice counterpart. Something like this, perhaps.

Primal Echoes with a Geomancy/Hydromancy sigil should/could proc Ancient Seeds on swap, can anyone test this and confirm it please?
