Is healing power worth the stat investment in solo or 2 or 3 man roaming?

Also does it make a difference in PvE or is it more just for use in raiding and the more competitive side of Spvp?

I ask mostly because I looked at my bank today and saw that I have enough mats to make a set of ascended weapons and armor and would really hate to invest in healing power if zerker is just the way to go.

Also on the note of making ascended… maybe it is more worth it to just focus on making different weapons instead of the armor altogether? Not sure if there is enough difference considering I have only done 1 fractal since release and still have yet to raid.

In the end I keep it in the heart of the mists, small scale WvW and random world events. Kinda leaning towards zerker so I can use it on other toons as well but this is what I play 95% of the time now.

You can heal just fine in Zerker armor and at most, would only have to swap out your trinkets for more Healing Power. There are some gains from building a “healing power” focused armor set it if you want to really go the route of dedicated healer (in Raids in particular), but Ive seen a few get away with just changing out trinkets, even even that.

Accessories, runes, and sigils are one of the ways to fine tune your character for this very reason. It doesn’t have to be an all or one, everything in sort of deal. Euthymias is pretty much spot on.

Within sPvP I’ve run Clerics on stronghold. It fits well but that is also just my play style. PvE I run LB/Berserker because I see no reason to do anything else. PvE is more or less a scripted encounter so just run whatever makes you happy

I ended up building a celestial ascended set and use the accessories to fine tune. Works wonders so far in my opinion and have been pretty happy.

you can just go for 600-750 healing power throw on some increases to outgoing healing sigil + maybe rune set Monks or water then mender ontop (trollungent adds 10 mender stacks before casting gylphs for heals ect to max out that 20% outgoing healing boost)

anywhere from 20% to 40% increase outgoing healing + the 750 healing power makes any healing from Staff or glyphs real powerful , even then if you have shouts too with resounding timbre at 750 healing power , your looking at around 2.2k-2.4k regen times over 10seconds) then the total is improved by 40% a extra 800-950 total hps or 80-95per second ontop of the other heals adds up to a lot , you could go lower than 750 but i find any lower than 500 healing power its not worth the sigil+rune investment.

unless you go the other route and use Zealots gear and Cavalier trinkets under the trait lines of MM/BM/druid for a very tough/hard power healer .

it really does make a difference in pvp and Wvw , people soon start to relise that you as a player are a safe person to rally to and provide a safe area to regroup/get help to heal up which can greatly turn fights around or sustain a large enough amount of people to keep doing consistant PvE damage vs a meta event bosses but obviously if those trying to get some healing from you don’t avoid the Killer attacks its not going to help them and its not your fault they died ether,

Thanks for the replies guys. After taking the day to think about it and seeing what you all had to share I settled on mixing and matching till I was closer to the menders set from Spvp. This one has a bit more toughness, power and ferocity but less healing and vitality. In the end I think it will play just well enough for me to do my casual thing.

Tried the zerkers some more in pvp to see if I could pull it off and sadly must report that while I feel fine with other squishier classes I have a hard time playing zerker on the druid. Probably I am just a big noob but menders yeilds me far more success personally. That said I will post what I settled on incase anyone is interested at all.
